Emcee Singapore Ainsley Chong - Reporting Live: It's your favourite emcee here, wishing one and all a very Happy 2019! This time around, the Singapore Recreation Club has brought me onboard as their host for the evening to kick off their New Year's Eve Countdown to usher in the New Year in style!
What an event it has been; the night started off with a stirring live band performance to set the tone for the rest of the evening, and set the tone it did. There was a ton of magical moments, literally, courtesy of renowned magician (and one of my great inspirations) Mr Kiki Tay, who truly blew everyone away with his mastery of the art of illusion and comedy and a deft sleight of hand to keep us guessing and in stitches. What an incredible magician, hats off to you good sir! There was also an Elvis Presley impersonator to serenade the guests with his soulful voice and his take on some of the King's most revered classics was pitch-perfect, like Elvis was right there with us. And who could forget the fireworks at the end of the night to welcome the New Year with open arms? It was a bittersweet night, full of fun and laughter not to mention some truly wonderful memories to bring with us into 2019.
Thank you very much to the Singapore Recreation Club for letting me be a big part of your New Year's Eve Countdown, it was amazing being able to send off 2018 with a bang and doing so as your host with the most. It's a wonderful moment in time I'll cherish forever, so thank you!
