Emcee Singapore Ainsley Chong - Reporting Live: I had lots of fun hosting this community event. I even had my selfie sketched out by myself and met loads of interesting and cool Singaporeans from all walks of life. Way to go Singaporeans. Big shoutout to those who took the time to sketched their own selfie/wefie as an individual, family or even a couple.
Portraits of the People was a SG50 community outreach programme by the National Gallery Singapore. It was meant to encourage everybody (Singaporeans or not) to sketch a picture of their selfie/wefie/etc. Should your sketch be chosen, your self-portrait would be etched along the walkway from City Hall MRT to National Gallery Singapore which, will also be known as the Art Connector. You could also write your wish right over at the Wish House, do check out the pictures below to see what our fellow Singaporeans wrote - I had a great laugh at some of the wishes.
