Emcee Singapore Ainsley Chong - Reporting Live: Welcome to my blog post of the Launch of POSB Talking ATMs in Singapore. Over the past few months, POSB has worked closely with the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH) to provide virtually-handicapped friendly functions such as braille instructions and audio guidance to its network of ATMs. Our Guest-of-Honour who graced the event was Mr Tan Chuan-Jin, Minister for Social & Family Development.
From 13 January onwards, we are delighted to announce that 86 ATMs across the island will be enhanced to help visually-impaired customers, including the elderly, perform basic ATM transactions independently.
